Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy applies to orders placed through Oceano.

For questions about shipping, delivery or your order, please contact us through our Contact page.

1. Order processing

Orders are processed after payment has been completed.

Estimated processing times:

  • Books in stock: usually shipped within 2–5 business days
  • Prints and artworks: usually produced and shipped within 3-6 business days
  • Digital products: normally delivered shortly after purchase by email, download link or customer account access

If an order contains both in-stock items and made-to-order items, the order may be shipped together when all items are ready, unless otherwise stated.

During launches, holidays, travel periods or unusually busy periods, processing may take longer.

2. Made-to-order prints and artworks

Most prints and artworks are produced to order. This means that production begins after the order has been placed.

Production time is separate from shipping time. The estimated delivery time begins once the item has been produced, packed and handed over to the shipping carrier.

If production is significantly delayed, we will contact you.

3. Shipping destinations

We ship to selected countries and regions shown at checkout.

If your country is not available at checkout, please contact us before placing an order.

We reserve the right to cancel and refund an order if delivery to the selected destination is not possible.

4. Shipping rates

Shipping rates are shown at checkout before payment.

Shipping costs may depend on:

  • destination country
  • package size and weight
  • product type
  • delivery method
  • carrier
  • tracking or insurance options, where available

5. Estimated delivery times

Delivery times shown on the website or at checkout are estimates only, unless a specific delivery date has been expressly agreed.

Delivery may be affected by carrier delays, customs processing, public holidays, local delivery conditions, weather, strikes or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

If no specific delivery time has been agreed, delivery will take place within the time required by applicable law.

6. Tracking

Where tracking is available, tracking information will be sent to the email address used for the order.

Tracking updates are provided by the shipping carrier. We are not responsible for missing or delayed tracking updates in the carrier’s system.

7. Delivery and risk

For consumer purchases, the risk of loss or damage passes to you when the order has been delivered to you or to a person authorised by you to receive it.

If a package is lost or damaged before delivery, contact us so we can assess the issue with the carrier.

If you choose a carrier or delivery method not offered by us, risk may pass to you when the order is handed over to that carrier.

8. Incorrect shipping information

You are responsible for providing a correct and complete shipping address.

If an order cannot be delivered because the shipping information provided by you is incorrect or incomplete, additional shipping costs may apply.

If the package is returned to us, we will contact you to arrange reshipment or cancellation where possible.

9. Uncollected packages

If a package is delivered to a parcel shop, pickup point or similar location, you are responsible for collecting it within the carrier’s deadline.

Not collecting a package is not the same as cancelling an order.

If a package is returned to us because it was not collected, costs related to return shipping, handling and reshipment may be deducted from any refund where permitted by law.

If you wish to cancel or return an order, you must contact us in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy.

10. Damaged packages

Please inspect your package when it arrives.

If the package or item is damaged, contact us immediately with:

  • your order number
  • photos of the outer packaging
  • photos of the damaged item
  • photos of any protective packaging

Please keep the packaging until the issue has been assessed, as the carrier may require documentation.

11. International shipping, customs and import charges

For orders shipped outside Denmark, customs duties, import taxes, VAT, handling fees or other local charges may apply depending on the destination country.

These charges are not included in the product price or shipping cost unless expressly stated at checkout.

The customer is responsible for any customs duties, import taxes or local charges required by the destination country.

Customs processing may delay delivery.

12. Digital products

Digital products are delivered electronically by email, download link or customer account access.

No physical shipping is provided for digital products unless expressly stated.

If you do not receive your digital product after purchase, check your spam folder first, then contact us through the Contact page.
